a. The teacher will ask the student to read the passage on page 16.
b. The teacher will fill in the table below and ask the student to recite words in the table.

*Main content words are nouns, noun phrases,main verbs, times and dates,adjectives,adverbs, and even negatives.
*Function words are articles, prepositions, conjunctions and auxiliaries [Statements using the auxiliary verbs ( is, are, can, have, will) are usually unstressed. This means that the vowel sound becomes shorter and consonants may change or be dropped.
d. Give sample sentences for the rising and falling intonation from the passage.

한국인이 지문을 소리 내어 읽을 때 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
TOEIC Speaking Part 1에서 날짜와 시간을 읽을 때 특히 주의하세요. 한국어에는 /θr/ 발음이 없어서 'three'를 'tree'처럼 발음하기 쉽고, 'June'의 모음도 부정확해지기 쉽습니다. 또한 날짜를 읽을 때 '15'는 반드시 서수 'fifteenth'로 읽어야 합니다.
