Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.

❌ "I think the picture is show a woman who is sitting on the bench."
✅ "I think the picture shows a woman sitting on a bench."

TOEIC Speaking에서 사진 묘사 시 "is show"처럼 be동사와 동사원형을 함께 쓰는 실수가 많습니다. 현재 시제로 "shows"를 쓰거나, 진행형 "is showing"을 써야 합니다. 또한 "who is sitting"처럼 불필요한 관계대명사절 대신 분사구문 "sitting on a bench"로 간결하게 표현하면 더 자연스럽고 유창하게 들립니다.
