II. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the student will be able to:
Learn how to understand natural English questions that is about inquiring about some informationCreate sentences using the information in the chartPractice answering questions about the chart
III. Procedure:
a. Define what is expected in q7
In this part of the exam, most of the questions would be WH- and How questions and would be basically be simple inquiries.
b. Ask the student to read the information on the chart (page 8)
c. After reading, ask the student to create sentences per event in the chart
d. The teacher will ask WH- and HOW questions about the chart in a chronological order. (from the title of the chart to the very last detail)
e. Ask the student to answer the question for q7 (page 8)

Korean Trap! / 한국인 실수 교정

Common mistakes Korean speakers make when answering questions based on provided information.
정보를 바탕으로 질문에 답할 때 한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.

❌ "The event is start at 3 o'clock."
✅ "The event starts at 3 o'clock."

한국어는 '시작하다'처럼 동사 원형을 그대로 쓰지만, 영어에서는 현재 시제 문장에서 주어가 3인칭 단수(The event)일 때 동사에 -s를 붙여야 합니다. 또한 'is start'처럼 be동사와 동사원형을 함께 쓰는 것은 문법 오류입니다. 차트의 정보를 읽고 답할 때 주어-동사 수일치에 특히 주의하세요.

❌ "It is located in Seoul, Gangnam."
✅ "It is located in Gangnam, Seoul."

한국어는 큰 지역에서 작은 지역 순서(서울시 강남구)로 말하지만, 영어는 반대로 작은 지역에서 큰 지역 순서(Gangnam, Seoul)로 씁니다. 차트에 있는 장소 정보를 전달할 때 영어식 어순을 사용해야 합니다.

❌ "The fee is 50,000 won per a person."
✅ "The fee is 50,000 won per person."

한국어의 '1인당'을 직역하여 'per a person'이라고 하는 경우가 많습니다. 하지만 'per' 뒤에는 관사(a/an)를 쓰지 않습니다. 차트에서 비용이나 수량 정보를 답할 때 'per person', 'per day'처럼 관사 없이 사용하세요.
