한국어에서는 "~라고 생각합니다. 왜냐하면~"처럼 이유를 별도의 문장으로 말하는 것이 자연스럽지만, 영어에서는 'because'를 문장 앞에 단독으로 시작하면 불완전한 문장(fragment)이 됩니다. 의견을 말할 때 이유는 하나의 문장 안에 연결하거나, 'This is because...'로 시작하는 완전한 문장으로 써야 합니다.
