At the end of the lesson, the student will be able to:
know how to answer opinion, which and describe type of questions for q6discuss the test techniques
III. Procedure:
a. Review the different questions for q6 and then the steps on how to answer
b. The teacher will ask questions (describe, opinion and which). The student should follow the steps on how to answer the questions. (page 7)
IV: Test Techniques
Listen carefully and pick out the key words in the question.If you need a few more minutes to think, start your answer by rephrasing the words from the question.Give a full answer. Add extra details or examples.Ask yourself what kind of question it is (to describe or to give an opinion) and decide on your focus.Follow an appropriate organization model for the question.Link your ideas together, and if you need time to think, use English hesitation devices.

Korean Trap! / 한국인 실수 교정

Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.

❌ "I think going to the gym is good. Because it is healthy."
✅ "I think going to the gym is good because it helps me stay healthy and feel more energetic."

한국어에서는 "~입니다. 왜냐하면~" 처럼 이유를 따로 끊어서 말하는 것이 자연스럽지만, 영어에서는 'because'로 시작하는 문장을 따로 떼어내면 불완전한 문장이 됩니다. TOEIC Speaking Q6에서는 의견을 말할 때 이유와 구체적인 예시를 하나의 완전한 문장으로 연결해야 높은 점수를 받을 수 있습니다.
