Korean Trap! /
Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국어로 "전화가 안 연결돼요"를 직역하면 "The phone is not connected"라고 하기 쉽습니다. 하지만 영어에서는 전화번호가 존재하지 않거나 사용 중단된 경우 "The number is not in service"라고 표현합니다.
비즈니스 통화에서는 "Can you speak up?" 또는 "Could you speak up a little, please?"
통화가 끊겨서 바로 다시 걸겠다는 상황에서는 "I'll call you right back"이 정확한 표현입니다.
