Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.

❌ "I will call you in tomorrow morning."
✅ "I will call you tomorrow morning."

한국어에서는 '내일 아침에'처럼 '에'를 붙이므로 영어에서도 'in'을 넣고 싶어집니다. 하지만 tomorrow, today, tonight 등 앞에는 전치사를 쓰지 않습니다. 비즈니스 전화에서 콜백 시간을 안내할 때 이 실수를 자주 하니 주의하세요.

❌ "Please tell me your phone number. I will call back."
✅ "May I have your number? I'll call you right back."

한국어 '전화번호 알려주세요'를 직역하면 다소 직접적이고 무례하게 들릴 수 있습니다. 영어권 비즈니스 문화에서는 'May I have...?' 또는 'Could you give me...?'처럼 간접적으로 요청하는 것이 예의 바른 표현입니다. 문화적 차이를 인식하고 공손한 표현을 쓰는 것이 중요합니다.
