Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
❌ "I will connect your call to the person in charge."
✅ "Let me transfer you to the person in charge."
한국어로 '전화를 연결해 드리겠습니다'를 직역하면 "connect your call"이라고 하기 쉽지만, 영어에서는 전화를 돌려줄 때 "transfer you to ~"가 가장 자연스러운 표현입니다. "Connect"도 틀린 것은 아니지만, 비즈니스 전화에서는 "transfer"가 표준 표현이므로 꼭 익혀 두세요.
