❌ I'm calling to follow up the proposal I sent last week.
✅ I'm calling to follow up on the proposal I sent last week.
한국어로는 "후속 조치를 하다"라고 할 때 별도의 전치사가 필요 없지만, 영어에서 "follow up"은 반드시 전치사 "on"과 함께 써야 합니다. "Follow up the proposal"이 아니라 "follow up on the proposal"이 올바른 표현입니다. 비즈니스 전화에서 자주 쓰는 표현이므로 꼭 기억하세요.
