Korean Trap! /

Common mistakes Korean speakers make.

❌ "Please take me to there."
✅ "Can you take me there?"

하지만 there, here, home 같은 부사에는 전치사 to를 붙이지 않습니다. "Take me to the resort"처럼 명사 앞에는 to가 필요하지만, "Take me there"처럼 부사 앞에서는 to를 빼야 자연스럽습니다.

❌ "How long does it take to arrive there?"
✅ "How long will it take to get there?"

한국어의 '도착하다'를 직역해서 arrive를 쓰는 경우가 많지만, 택시 안에서 목적지까지의 소요 시간을 물을 때는 "How long will it take to get there?"

❌ "The traffic is so many."
✅ "The traffic is so heavy."
