한국어로는 룸서비스에 수건이나 물품을 "주문하다"라고 표현하지만, 영어에서 order는 주로 음식을 주문할 때 사용합니다. 호텔에서 수건, 샴푸 같은 비품을 요청할 때는 request가 자연스럽습니다. 또한 "to my room"이 아니라 "for my room"을 사용하는 것이 올바른 전치사 표현입니다.
한국어에서는 "모닝콜"이라는 콩글리시를 흔히 사용하지만, 영어에서는 morning call이라고 하지 않습니다. 올바른 영어 표현은 wake-up call입니다. 또한 "Please give me"보다 "Could I get~?"이 호텔에서 더 공손하고 자연스러운 요청 방식입니다.
