Porter : No problem madam, for how many persons would you like to reserve?
Costumer: Please reserve a room for 3 persons.
Porter : We have lots of room here madam. Class A cost $250 per 1 day,
B is for $200 for 1 day and the last is C which is $100 per 1 day.
Costumer: Well, I prefer the Class A. Please reserve 1 for us.
Porter : Can I get your name please?
Costumer: I am Susan Parker, my husband and my son will also stay with me.
Porter : Class A room for Mrs. Parker for 3 days.
Costumer: That’s right.
Porter : Thank you madam.

❌ I want to reserve a room in 3 persons.
✅ I'd like to reserve a room for 3 people.

한국어에서는 "3명으로 예약하다"라고 하기 때문에 전치사 'in'을 쓰기 쉽지만, 영어에서는 인원수를 나타낼 때 반드시 'for + 숫자 + people'을 사용합니다. 또한 'persons'보다 'people'이 일상 회화에서 훨씬 자연스럽습니다.
