Unit 1-11 / Part 1
They were born there and have never lived anywhere else.
Have (Has) + p.p
They have never lived there.
IThey have never lived anywhere else.

Korean Trap! /

Common mistakes Korean speakers make.

❌ I have worked with my co-worker since 3 years.
✅ I have worked with my co-worker for 3 years.

한국어에서는 "3년 동안"과 "3년 전부터"를 비슷하게 표현하기 때문에, 영어에서도 since와 for를 혼동하기 쉽습니다. for는 기간의 길이(for 3 years, for a long time)와 함께 쓰고, since는 시작 시점(since 2023, since last March)과 함께 씁니다. 예를 들어 "They have been together for 7 years"처럼, 동료와 함께한 기간을 말할 때는 for를 사용하세요.

❌ I didn't meet my co-worker never.
✅ I have never met my co-worker before.
