Many Korean students believe that they are being forced by their parents to
pursue professions in such fields as medicine or law. In fact, some parents
simply disregard other fields of careers that their children might be
interested in. This is because of the popular belief that such professions
ensure stability in life.

한국어에서는 "제 직업은 회계사입니다"라고 말하기 때문에 영어에서도 "My job is accountant"라고 직역하는 경우가 많습니다. 하지만 영어에서는 직업을 말할 때 "I am a/an + 직업" 또는 "I work as a/an + 직업"으로 표현합니다. "My job is ~"을 쓰려면 "My job is accounting(회계 업무)"처럼 업무 내용을 넣어야 자연스럽습니다.
