Today, many university students seem to show a priority towards money.
Gone are the days when the talk of money was hush-hush in the university
environment. Schools are now offering courses on acquiring wealth, and the
financial section in major bookstores are crowded with interested university
students.

한국인이 자주 하는 실수를 알아봅시다.
한국 학생들은 'must have p.p'를 'should have p.p'(~했어야 했다)와 혼동하는 경우가 많습니다. 'must have p.p'는 과거 사실에 대한 강한 추측(~했음에 틀림없다)을 나타내고, 'should have p.p'는 과거에 대한 후회나 의무(~했어야 했다)를 나타냅니다. 예를 들어, "He must have known that knowledge is more valuable than wealth"는 "그는 지식이 부보다 더 가치 있다는 것을 알았음에 틀림없다"라는 뜻이지, "알았어야 했다"라는 뜻이 아닙니다.
