Unit 2-12 / Part 2
Especially in North America, there are couples galore who desire to adopt
a child, whether or not they already have a child. Because it takes too long
to be matched with a child in North America, many couples have begun to
look elsewhere. Nowadays, quite a number of Asian children are adopted
by non-Asian parents. Fortunately, children grow up acknowledging the
fact that their real parents are the ones they share time and relationship
with. Thus, many choose to love their parents who adopted them, even
though they are not related by blood.

Korean Trap! /
Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
"They adopted me"처럼 adopt + 목적어 형태로 사용하세요.
