Unit 2-10 / Part 2
The three top reasons that keep an employee are: the job itself, relationship
with coworkers, and wage. People may value one over the other, but it is
common that if none of these three are satisfied, the employee will most likely
leave his/her job for another one. Workers will seldom be satisfied with all of
the three aspects, but they will sacrifice one if the other two are very good
(perhaps even if just one of them is very good).
Comprehension Check

- Are you satisfied with your current job? In what ways?
- Would you recommend your job to someone else? Why?
- What’s your dream job?
- How do you deal with dissatisfactions from work? Likely : If someone or something is likely to do a particular thing, they will very probably do it. Seldom : If something seldom happens, it happens only occasionally.
Korean Trap! /
Common mistakes Korean speakers make.
"Don't get me wrong about ~"이 올바른 표현이며, 본문에서도 "Don't get me wrong about what I've told you."
한국어에서 '이유는 ~때문이다'라고 말하기 때문에 "The reason is because..." 영어에서는 "reason"과 "because"를 함께 쓰면 의미가 중복되므로, "The reason is that..."
