현재진행시제 (present continuous)는 말하고 있는 시점 즈음에 일어나고 있는
(아직 끝나지 않은) 일을 나타낼 때 사용하며 be동사 + ~ ing 형태로 쓴다.

내 친구들 몇몇이 집을 짓고 있다.
Some friends of mine are building their houses.
내 친구 몇몇이 그들의 집을 짓고 있다.
Some friends of mine are building their own houses.
내 친구 이 그들 자신의 집을 짓고 있다.
Customers in the department store are fighting over a dress.
백화점에 있는 고객들이 드레스 때문에 싸우고 있다.

The government has announced plans to enforce a restriction on liquor.
This plan will involve a nation wide campaign leading to the implementation
of a new set of laws by 2008. Some of the changes to be made are
restrictions of liquor sales and consumption in public areas, censoring of
liquor consumption scenes in television, and an increase in liquor prices.
